I always imagined I'd be one of those pregnant chicks I've seen on here that lifts just as heavy and frequently as before... well NOPE!
that wasn't in the cards for me!
This is pretty much what my workouts look like these days. Baby weights and lots of sitting.. not too much different than before I guess
Snatching and Cleans disappeared almost immediately. As soon as I felt the bar bump the bottom of my belly, I was done. Moderately heavy squatting and all deadlifts and pulls went soon after that.. they both gave me a weird pulling feeling on the bottom and sides of my belly.
I've been listening to my body - lots of yoga, pull-ups, some handstands but not as much or for as long (my balance is off so I can't stay up as long anyway!). Overhead squats and pressing variations feel great. Rowing is awkward and boring, but I do it.
What I'm doing must be working because I feel amazing!! I feel like my body was made for this!
