Meet our latest tiny rescues!
We're very pleased and also very relieved to report that they were reunited with their Mama today!!!
As is often the case in emergency rescue situations, we were forced to take these newborns away for their own safety, although a dog scared their Mother away from the shed where she'd been keeping them.
But our TNR manager/resident cat whisperer returned today to look for her and...Woo hoo! Success!!!
Now these kittens will remain with us and in their own sweet Mama's care, until they're healthy and old enough for adoption. That will also give us plenty of time to evaluate Mom's adoption potential as well!
So keep those fingers and toes crossed for this whole sweet family!
Please also keep in mind that these rescue emergencies come up all the time, and it takes a team effort by TNR experts, emergency bottle-feeders, transporters, vets, etc., long before our rescue animals ever appear at an adoption event. We're always in need of funding, donations, and ready-and-willing volunteers! Please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know how you can help!
