Recently I've received comments and DMs on some of my recent posts from not only guys but also women feeling their need to express themselves about my weight and even boobs.
You're too fat, you need to lose weight and your boobs aren't big enough.
Normally I would just block those kinds of people but I definitely feel the need to speak out my mind about this.
Unfortunately there are still a lot of people with twisted minds who seem to forget about real life - the reality outside this illusion of perfectionism on social media. Everyday we're all being reminded of how the body ideal is supposed to be for women and for men scrolling down various fitness accounts.
PEDs (drugs), surgery, exaggerated photoshop and extreme diets among skinny models are what fitness is about today - referring to instagram accounts like @bossgirlscertified @fitgirls_gallery
Sadly for a lot of girls their desired motivation will end up being a comparison between the lies of social media and themselves. When you start comparing yourself with something that were made with a simple touch of a magic tool or at the surgeons' you'll be dragging yourself down and in the end motivation will be so hard to find.
A few tips for MOTIVATION:
QUIT SOCIAL MEDIA
For those who spend hours a day searching for motivational quotes, videos, pictures of models etc. - instead spend your time on your actual purpose.
STOP COMPARING YOURSELF WITH OTHERS
Be confident - be you!
FIND YOUR PASSION
Set a goal.
DISCIPLINE, DISCIPLINE, DISCIPLINE
You'll never reach your goal if you watch your life pass you by.
